Mozilla’s Paul Rouget went for research a month ago regarding the feedback of web developers and what they supposed to use in future versions of firefox tool. As a result of this research Paul Rouget and his team decided to develop a tool for the web developers in Firefox.
According to this research the whole team prepared a bunch of tools and most of them are still in construction, only two of them were released in Nighty Channel for developers try.
Most of the request was about the live edit in text editor of our own choice, this will eliminate the need of jump from our editor to the browser, after we can hit referesh and jump back to our editor & so on. This is the best part as Rouget says, which will also work in mobile versions as well. Keeping this beside and Mozilla worked in all the direction to get this editor in Firefox. They also planned to put the editor in Firefox’s Dev tool suite but its quite uneffective when comparing to the jsFiddle which is an file based editor.
Including this they also tried to speed up the Firefox’s Dev tool as like that of in webkit browsers. In previous versions there is repaint options but after saving it we are unable to notify the modified area from the original, now with this tool we can find the repainted area on the page. Rouget is also working towards a new, dark theme for the Firefox dev tools.
Generally while coding there will a default font size of every page, if needed we can change it by using a special Dev funciton and it is quite difficult to find it. But now Rouget introduced a font inspector panel which is very useful to find the font size of a page in easy way. This was done by the actual code @font-face code.
They didn’t stop with this still the Mozilla developer Dave townsend introduced Tilt view tool which offers us to view the coding in 3D view and it will be very easy to identify the Bug in coding.
